My Original Woman-ade Recipe

This is a refreshing and nutritious drink I created originally for pregnant and postpartum moms because their mineral and hydration needs are so high. But this is a healthy way to hydrate anyone (especially in the warm months).

INGREDIENTS

For ginger-lemonade:

  1. One, fat finger of ginger

  2. One cup (give or take) of lemon juice

  3. 1/4 cup of honey

  4. Pinch of sea salt

  5. 10-15 drops of Rescue Remedy (or any other tinctures or homeopathics you’d like to include)

  6. 10-15 drops of trace mineral drops.

For tea infusion:
If you don’t have fresh herbs around, don’t let that stop you from adding tea to the lemonade. You can make a jar of peppermint, raspberry leaf, red clove or any other type of tea you like and pour it over ice to include in this recipe.

  1. One TBSP. of loose, dried raspberry leaf

  2. One TBSP. of loose, dried nettles

  3. One TBSP. of loose, dried oatstraw

  4. One TBSP of loose, drive alfalfa

Instructions:

For ginger lemonade:

  • Chop ginger as finely as you like.

  • Pour boiling water over ginger (start with a quart size jar. You can always make a bigger batch next time)

  • Add salt & honey.

  • Let cool.

  • Add lemon juice to taste.

  • Add rescue remedy, mineral drops and more.

  • Refrigerate.

For tea infusion:

  • Combine herbs in a quart sized jar and pour boiling water over.

  • Let sit overnight and then strain out herbs.

  • Pour half tea and half lemonade over ice. Add fresh mint leaves for added flavor!
